Walkersons Hotel & Spa, Dullstroom

My experience at Walkerson's was quite mixed. While the location is beautiful and the accommodations have potential, the service and cleanliness left much to be desired. The dining options were pleasant, particularly the dinner, but my overall impression was marred by issues during checkout and room quality. Not the ideal stay for a luxury experience.

I had a lovely stay at Walkerson, which is nestled in a serene valley surrounded by beautiful dams. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, particularly during our anniversary celebration. However, the room we stayed in had some issues with the layout and cleanliness, which detracted from the overall luxury feel. Still, the peaceful setting and excellent amenities made it a worthwhile escape.

Walkersons is a lovely retreat just a few hours from Johannesburg, with spacious and comfortable accommodations, particularly a well-designed suite that made the evenings cozy. The dining experiences were enjoyable, with a good variety but a few minor hiccups in service speed. I loved the beautiful surrounding views and the opportunities for activities; however, the lack of shade and comfortable seating outside in the afternoons detracted slightly from my overall relaxation experience.
